General Study Tips
Complete your assignment early in the evening. 
Practice saying new words into a tape recorder.  Stick post-it notes on various items around the house --label the items in Spanish.  Read children's books in Spanish, visit a Spanish restaurant, listen to Spanish radio stations, watch Spanish TV programs.  Active participation = Success in Spanish
